Timetrac
as a system is combination of TAMS software and Abacus
Smart Card Reader, Abacus Optical Reader, Abacus Finger
Print Scanner, Abacus Bar Code Reader, Ethernet Adapter
or Door Controller.
Timetrac system can be operated through Dial-Up Modem,
Internet, Intranet or VPN of an organization.
Timetrac is a Multi-Server based system which communicates
on TCP/IP (not required for modem based communication).
Attendance Data can either be interfaced to an existing
payroll system or We can provide a payroll module.
Different
Category, Group, Grade, Designation of Employees
can be defined.
Shift
scheduling can be done by Employee, by
Group or by Department.Various Leave
operations like Defining Leave Rules, Leave
Opening Balance, Leave Closing Balance, Short
Leave etc. can be done.
Attendance
Rules like Late Coming Rule, Early Departure
Rule, Over time, Compensation Off etc. can
also be defined.
Software
can be enabled to work on LAN or the WAN.By
using a web based interface information can be
accessed from almost anywhere thoughout the network
. Communication with various devices involoved in system
can also be done through browser.
It
can also be integrated to Canteen Application.
20
Time Zones per card can be defined.
Upto
5000 Doors can be controlled through this
application.
Various
Reports like Time Card Report, Annual
Muster, Payroll Summary, Man Days Worked, Attendance
Report etc. can be generated.
Three
Tier Client-Server distributed architecture shall
be used for implementing Access Control System in the
organization. The First Tier is the local transaction-processing
host, installed at the sites where the access control
system will be used. The Second Tier would be
a set of redundant servers with hot standby at Regional
level. The Third Tier is meant for the centralized
database server
Abacus Card Readers can be connected to RS232 port of
a node, on organization’s network, or it can be connected
to RS232 port of Abacus Ethernet Adapter, which minimizes
node requirement, on organization’s network. Multiple
card readers can also be connected to a single node
or Ethernet adapter using RS485. Using Web Based interface
of software and user can control & send command to any
Reader, Finger Print Scanner, Door Controller (Electro-magnetic
latch) connected on the same intranet or on different
intranet of organization using Internet or VPN. Architecture
of Multi-Server based Timetrac system is shown in figure
below.

Smart
cards can carry secured data in the chip, on the
card. Thus Smart Card based solutions allow people
to carry money or notional values on smart cards
and this may be used for cash less transactions.
The key advantage over magnetic credit cards is
that smart cards can be used for off-line transactions,
which means that expensive telecom infrastructure
can be avoided. Furthermore, the cost of transaction
is much lower. There is zero credit risk on the
transactions. Details

Abacus Optical Card based Time Attendance Management
System allows the management to have an automised
system for recording attendance of all its employees.
Each employee has an optical card, which has holes
forming an easily readable (by the Optical Card
Reader) unique code. The optical reader records
the attendance of the employee with each drop
of the optical card. Personal details of the employee
can also be printed on the card so that the card
can also act as an Identity card. Also, various
reports (leave, payroll) can also be generated
automatically.

Teletrac, is a digital device, which takes sound
from the analog telephone / microphone/ radio /
cellphone connected to recording device, digitizes
it, compresses it and then sends it to the parallel
port of the computer, where it is accepted by the
software and stored as files. The files may be picked
by the software and sent back to the parallel port
for playback. The playback and recording may take
place simultaneously.
An advanced Serach Engine makes the database intelligent.
The following data is recorded along with the
conversation: · |
| |
- Number
Dialed
- Number
of Incoming call (If Caller ID is enabled)
- Time
Stamp of call
- Duration
of call
- Line
on which call is made/received
- A
wild card facility allows a range of search
options and reports
- Approximate
4000 hours conversation (with compression) or
1250 hours (without compression) stored on a
40 GB Hard Disk Drive.

| Teletrac
has following tangible benefits : |
- Transaction
Record: Telephonic instructions, which involve
financial transactions/legally binding acts
etc. are essential to record. Telecon recording
becomes extremely useful for share brokers,
bankers, foreign currency operators, traders,
etc.
- Service
Centers need to ensure that all complaints
are logged and properly attended. Calls are
logged manually and it is difficult to track
default. The system also serves as a training
tool as it would track calls, and monitor responses
and which may be used as feedback to enhance
operator response. The same could also be used
as a performance enhancement/benefit system.
- Surveillance
& Security: Teletrac solves these problems
and once attached to the telephone lines provides
comprehensive coverage of all conversations
and this backed by an analytical and tracking
software. The system once installed not only
provides a tracking and monitoring system, but
also becomes a deterrent to sources of leakages.
- Telemarketing
is today an essential corporate activity and
an indispensable marketing tool. The quality
of the call is critical, as that is the first
interaction with the client. Thus continuous
monitoring of calls is important, as they provide
the feedback, which would then become the basis
of improvement.
